True Messengers of God

True Messengers Of God by James Andrews,  taken from (the union guide 1951)
The true messenger of God does not speak to the natural mind or intellect of man but to the spiritual mind or understanding. Jesus was like that. That is the reason he said always in connection with those words he uttered, "Let those who have ears to hear, hear. "  He did not desire to convince his hearers in their natural intellect for by so doing he would only build them up in the Pride of the workings of their own minds, but he desired to bring their souls and spirits to the light of God that their deeds in that realm of life might be manifest.  That is the reason he said that the words he spoke were spirit and life. They were not intended for the natural mind or intellect but for the spiritual understanding hid away in the soul
   Continued by Harriet Peavey:
To those who have spiritual understanding and those who do not lean to their  own understanding , This has been my indeaver in writing The New Birth,  How much has been sucessful I leave in the hands of God.   I know that I awoke the morning of Janurary 29, 2012 with the words as plain as though they were being spoken to me "Ye must be born again" and followed by "born of the spirit"  I believe these words were of the Spirit of God and that  he will cloth that spirit with flesh, not of the natural , but with spirit and life and in His own good time:  I don't know when,  but I believe,  that He that has started a good work in me shall complete it to the end.
I had always heard of being born again , my mother had said she knew when he entered into her and others said they could name the day and the spot.  Well I agonized with God pointing these out  and asking why not I.   Oh, I had many experiences'  under the spirit, and it seems that my whole life has been planned for me,  but when I read in 1 john 3:8  "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.  and in 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him : and he cannot sin, because he is born of God,    To be completely honest , I must not claim it.
This and  much more I question of God, and He answered forth-with.   Now I remember that! and where.  I was in kalamazoo, Michigan at the 1954 camp meeting in the tabernical in the afternoon meeting, I know just about where I was sitting, when he revealed a plain and simple truth to me , it was. ( There is no birth without conception, that experence, which has been understood for a birth is conception )  and God said these words to me (Someday you will be born , ye are as a babe in the womb after I have develed and grown under the tuttorledge of the Spirit. ) Then he showed me the sin of the world, and that we were all sinners in this natural realm,  we sin as the sparks fly upward, and are born into trouble.

Jesus spoke in parables'; and without parables' ,  spoke He not unto them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet,  saying, I will open my mouth in parables'  I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world, so that those that have ears to hear, will hear and those that have eyes to see will see.
And he said unto them "The Kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:  But, while the man slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tars also.  and the servents of the household came and said to him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then did the tares  come from?  He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, wilt thou then that we go an gather them up?
But, He said , Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them,  Let both grow together untill the harvest : and in time of harvest I will say to the reapers Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn,.  Let those that have ears to hear,  hear.    We must constantly watch that we donot become an enemy of god and plant tares in our neighbors field thinking we do him a service, For that which is good seed to us is abomination in the eyes of the Lord.
